The Opportunity  

This position works out of our St Paul, MN location in the New Brighton region in our Abbott Vascular Division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

What you’ll do:

The Warehouse Supervisor will execute highly complex or specialized work. Will use knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in particular area. Works independently, applies standards yet adapts precedent and may make departures from established processes to resolve
problems. Responsible for the efficient use of the organization's storage and distribution facilities.

• Activities include receiving incoming goods, managing stock levels and movements, processing orders and shipments, ensuring warehouse security, performing stocktakes, and maintaining inventory records.
• Will manage a team of six shipping and receiving staff.
• Check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods.
• Arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records.
• Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.).
• Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures.
• These activities may include answering telephones, updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required Experience

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Minimum 1 year experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing people, preferred.
• Forklift operation experience, preferred.

The base pay for this position is $50,700.00 – $101,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
