The Opportunity
This position works out of our San Diego, CA location.
The person hired in this role is responsible to oversee buildings, grounds, equipment, and supplies. Their duties fall into several categories, including overseeing operations and maintenance, planning and managing projects and dealing with environmental factors.
What You’ll Work On
Oversee and manage facility related systems including but not limited to: telephone system and voicemail, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, building electrical, fire extinguishers and fire alarm panel, maintenance of building equipment (air compressor, generator, etc), alarms, keys/locks, access card reader. Manage layout and design of facility and managing space requirements/modifications.
Manage building maintenance and upkeep.
Manage vendor / landlord / township related issues.
Responsible for staff management, development and associated activities.
Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines. goals are established and achieved. complete all EHS required training programs. promotion of pollution prevention and waste minimization.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
Provides leadership by assigning work within the department, resolving issues and managing people related processes; operates independently with limited direction or instruction; lead and develop staff.
Lead a team of professionals responsible for maintenance of relevant facility / facilities ensuring that operating requirements, building codes and safety regulations are met.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 4 years relevant / similar experience to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
Competencies:
Knowledge of or aptitude to learn Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems; Experience/Background Experience
Knowledge of or aptitude to learn Telephone system(s); - ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications; - ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
Ability to work independently and in groups; ability to influence and lead with and without direct authority; - demonstrated initiative, problem-solving; - ability to apply analytical and critical-thinking skills to resolve issues; - organization and be detail-oriented.

The base pay for this position is $82,100.00 – $164,100.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
