The Opportunity

This role will lead site operations, which includes Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence. Must maintain a close partnership with all functional areas both at the site and within division. This role operates in a highly regulated environment with complex design and functionality. This position must be able to handle a high number of complex financial, analytical, and strategic considerations in critical decision making. Ensure compliance with all Abbott Corporate quality, financial, regulatory, purchasing and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and regulations.
What You’ll Work On
- Provide leadership, communication and coaching to employees across all functional areas, cultivating a safe environment of engagement, trust, teamwork, and accountability. Engage with external third-party stakeholders, including Government agencies, law makers, charitable organizations etc.
- Build organization to manage day-to-day site operations ensuring performance, quality, cost, schedule, profit, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved with risks identified and mitigated and opportunities exercised.
- Attract, develop, and retain a diverse qualified staff through effective training, succession planning strategies and ongoing performance feedback. Drive a culture of engagement and inclusivity throughout the organization through clear communication, collaboration, and recognition.
- Manage the financial performance of the site in accordance with the planned budgets and develop strategies for capacity, capital planning and cost improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable business policies, laws, and regulations, inclusive of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, and processes. Interface with internal and external regulatory agencies and government officials.
- Interact internally and externally with executive-level management to ensure the highest possible quality product and product availability to meet the needs of the business short and long-term.
- Devise strategy for site operations, aligned with overall divisional strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant career experience
- Experience in roles of increasing responsibility within a manufacturing/operations / supply chain environment is required.
- Experience in people leadership is required.

The base pay for this position is $188,700.00 – $377,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
