KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY

The GM Hospital, Government will be responsible for ADC’s Hospital and Government Sales in achieving >$500 million in sales by 2030.  This position will have total accountability for meeting division goals and objectives.

The GM Hospital, Government will have accountability for Sales / P&L, Strategy, Marketing, Service. This position has significant impact on aspects of the hospital business, from people, customers, processes and products to sales growth, margin and division performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Directs and manages the business strategy, sales, marketing, services implementation, and customer care teams for the Hospital & Government glucose business.
  • With subordinates, internal and external partners, develops & implements market access programs including government and hospital contractual relationships and coverage policy. 
  • Identifies and manages third party partnerships that create value-add solutions to enhance the glucose portfolio including data management software providers, lobbying agencies and consultants.
  • Manage and develop high level customer relationships with targeted accounts and other key accounts for the core Hospital and Government business. 
  • Participates in R&D and business plan development and updates.
  • Department budget and P&L responsibility for Hospital & Government glucose business including management of forecasting, S&OP and long-range planning.   
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Build and deliver the LRP and drive profitable growth.
  • Stimulate topline sales growth through consistently focused, selling model including physicians / key accounts (health systems), channel marketing initiatives, contracting and market access. 
  • Leads internal / external cross functional team on development of access policy.
  • Responsible for meeting business challenges, product and customer strategies.
  • Has cross functional responsibilities including managing internal / external partners and contributing to overall US Commercial strategy.
  • Participates in North America Staff discussion and direction development. 
  • Champions channel specific initiatives which require cross-functional support including R&D, Customer Service, Purchasing and Contracting.
  • Works in conjunction with HCP and Trade channels and ensures single point of contact with the customer.
  • Establishes and monitors goals for the team that are aligned with the Division.
  • Creates team culture and establishes growth/development and career paths of team members.
  • Adheres to the standards, guidelines and regulations associated with Ethics and Compliance and sets an example as a role model.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business or related fields
  • MBA Highly desired
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Medical Devices.
  • Ability to provide strategic direction and coordination of various functional groups.
  • Experience in multiple divisions or related businesses.
  • Management level experience in Sales and Marketing and prior P&L management required.  
  • Additional experience in market access, hospital or government channels desired.
  • Experience leading and managing Managers and responsibility for large and diverse/skilled work groups.  Knowledge of planning, forecasting and executing a plan/budget.



The base pay for this position is $218,700.00 – $437,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
