Facilities Engineer

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Ensures the safety, reliability, and efficient operation of all building systems and infrastructure. Additionally, supports ongoing manufacturing operations by leading facility improvement projects, managing facility maintenance, coordinating contractors, and optimizing facility equipment uptime. Serves as a technical expert for HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and utility systems within the facility and partners closely with Operations, EHS, and Maintenance teams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maintaining facilities operation including facilities equipment, area conditions, utilities, and amenities.

• Provides work direction to facility technicians to maintain planning and coordination of activities pertaining to facilities department.

• Leads and supports facilities/maintenance projects to maximize efficiency and utilization of facilities and equipment.

• Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and planning preventative maintenance, repairs and services for facilities equipment, systems and building.

•Oversees the planning, design, construction, reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures within facilities.

• Responsible for coordination of janitorial and pest control services with 3rd parties.

• Investigates unplanned events affecting facility operations and takes appropriate corrective and preventive actions to preclude recurrence.

• Develops and maintains plans for short and long-term facilities projects.

• Responsible for maintaining updated plant, office and production equipment layouts/engineering drawings and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

• Facilitates emergency repairs to maintain site operations.

• Preferred: Degree in Engineering

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
