The Opportunity

Our location in Columbus, OH currently has an opportunity for a Brand Manager, Adult Institutional specifically for External Engagement and Clinical Liaisons

The Brand Manager is the primary point of contact for, and is responsible for developing, directing, and leading the strategic relationship of Abbott Nutrition with leaders of key professional associations and other relevant professional organization stakeholders. Initiates strategic programs, partnerships, and joint ventures to cultivate and extend nutrition in the healthcare market. Leads all non-accredited educational programming and personal/non-personal promotion of programs, aligning strategy and focus to organizational objectives. Responsible for KOL development, Speakers bureau, conferences, associations, and Clinical Liaison strategy and execution. 

What You’ll Work On

  • Identify risks, opportunities and define and align leadership to actionable gap solves

  • Association partnership identification and relationship management

  • Speaker/Key Opinion Leader (KOL) identification, training and management

  • External Engagement program development (ie roundtables) and KPI tracking

  • Clinical Liaison Messaging/resources (ie. national webinars) and direction

  • External Engagement budget management

  • Lead and continuously develop an effective working relationship with the extended brand and sales team, operations and key stakeholders

  • Travel: 20%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 2-5 years of brand management, HCP sales or business analytics experience.  Preferred experience in healthcare or food and beverage industry

  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams

  • Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • An ability to think strategically and develop annual plans and financial commitments

  • An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to changing customer and HCP needs

  • Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas; Intellectual curiosity

  • The ability to manage and allocate budgets

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with and an understanding of market research and data

  • Sales experience a plus

The base pay for this position is $90,700.00 – $181,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
