WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage the Validation Review Board, coordinating cross function evaluation of the proposed changes, follow up to meeting actions and point of contact for validation support.
  • Responsible for the creation of validation packages and evaluate all validation protocols and packages as the technical reviewer.
  • Responsible to support scheduling and execution of validation packages with the manufacturing teams.
  • Completes design of experiments, validation, completion of testing and analysis of data for continuous improvement activities. Presents data to area representatives.
  • Support operations and maintenance to analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults, troubleshoot processing issues, and coordinate cross function teams as necessary to remediate.
  • Key engineering contact to supports R&D manufacturing teams to solve basic to complex equipment and processing issues within the large portfolio equipment/systems in the R&D facility (aseptic processing filling, powder processing and filling, retort operations, utility and facility equipment).
  • Implement preventive measures to improve machine reliability.
  • Develop and implement process improvements.
  • Provides technical direction to mechanics / technicians and provides helpful feedback to other engineers. 
  • Manage the sites CAD drawing process, including document version control, make changes to CAD drawings based on feedback or project requirements, create new or modification of existing process flow diagrams. 
  • These responsibilities cover R&D operations at two different sites within Columbus, OH.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience required.  Previous regulated manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Experience working with CAD and able to use the design software confidently
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Prioritizes, executes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.

The base pay for this position is $50,000.00 – $100,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
